A decidedly hoppy and bitter, moderately strong American pale ale.

A clean, crisp, delicately balanced beer usually with very subtle fruit flavors and aromas. Subdued maltiness throughout leads to a pleasantly refreshing tang in the finish.

Like an American pale ale with more body, more caramel richness, and a balance more towards malt than hops (although hop rates can be significant).

A complex, sour, red wine-like Belgian-style ale.
